The Architecture Development Method is a core component of TOGAF. Provides a tested and repeatable process for developing architectures. There are 10 ADM Phases. These are:

  1. Preliminary Phase
  2. Architecture Vision
  3. Business Architecture
  4. Information Systems Architecture
  5. Technology Architecture
  6. Opportunities & Solutions
    • performs initial implementation planning
  7. Migration Planning
    • analysis of costs, benefits, and risks
  8. Implementation Governance
  9. Architecture Change Management
  10. Architecture Requirements Management
